mplayer v8

Guys, we now have a fully working skeletal program. Fiducials are working well, prompts will come up on the processing screen to update volume details, and removal/insertion of instruments.

Due to the way angles are worked out (default is apparently 0 ->6.2), combined with the simple algorithm installed, I'd suggest setting the fiducial to 180' prior to testing, otherwise volume will be to low to hear.

Next Step
Well, now that the program does what we initially set out to do as bare minimum, its time to consider beefing it up with features, prepare for our first presentation, and sort out our physical rig.

Physical Rig
Saw a video earlier where a guy had his camera set underneath a glass table, fiducials where at the bottom of transparent plastic sheets, and where being read through glass.

Drew up a modified version which will suit our purposes (and require some woodworking know-how)...Let me know what you think (Image above)

  1. oh yeah, forgot to add, if we go for this blueprint, fiducials can be on the back of of cards, whos fronts have got images of the instruments on them.
