Planning Route from Computer

Planning a Route from Computer

Planning the route can be done by using the mobile phon

e or by using the computer. The computer will use the integrated microphone to recognise commands from the user.

Firstly to plan the route the user clicks on the Voice Command button/shortcut and after a beep calls out ‘Plan Route’. This will automatically open the web browser and open the Google Maps Plane Route feature.

Once Google Maps loads the default route will be planned for ‘Walking’. The user must then call out ‘Start Point’ followed by the address of the starting point (location A). The computer will repeat the starting point address and awaits a confirmation ‘Correct’ or ‘Wrong’.

If the user replies ‘Correct’, the same will apply so that the ‘End Point’ is defined. If ‘Wrong’ is replied from the user, the system will ask to enter the address again.

Once the Start Point and End Point are defined, the user could call out “Save”. This will save the route and send it by e-mail to the mobile device.

Note: Before calling out the predefined tags, the user must always press the Voice Command button/shortcut.
