Fiducial Blocks

guys if we gonna stick the printed fiducials on the back of the blocks...shud we paint the blocks white to get the block to be the same colour as the paper? since the blocks are a light colour already, shudnt take more then one coat to get them to look good...

if we can talk about it during todays lesson wud b good, dat way we can sort out what needs to be sorted out right after lesson

cheers =)

btw...blocks almost sanded, got three or 4 left =)

*pictures us all sanding away during tonights novel lecture*......wudnt seem in the least bit odd ;)

  1. UPDATE: Hey guys, thanks for all your input and effort with the blocks, they have now all been sanded and ready to hold fiducials.

    Today we started sticking fiducials on the back of the blocks (cut out papers stuck with tape temporarily for testing). This method is working well, and webcam is able to read fiducials through glass.

    We can start sticking instruments on with tape also (just to see what it looks like). If we all approve of the looks, we can consider a more permanent adhesive.
